The Iveron Convent in Jordanville, New York (formerly known as St. Elizabeth’s Skete) is a woman’s convent located near Holy Trinity Monastery. The convent is named after the Iveron Icon, one of the most revered icons of the Mother of God, originally associated with the Iveron Monastery on Mount Athos.
We carry a number of products made by the sisters of the convent. Here are the most popular:
1. Natural Lip Balm
This is a half-ounce tin of natural lip balm made with apricot oil, jojoba oil, cocoa butter, shea butter, beeswax, vitamin E, and flavoring oils.
2. Cherubim Scented Soy Candle
This six-ounce soy wax candle has a fragrance that embodies the classic and enchanting aromatic blend of frankincense and myrrh, with bergamot, patchouli, and sandalwood. We also carry five other candle scents from the convent.
3. Easter Egg Candle
The convent’s vividly colored Easter egg candles are made from all-natural beeswax.
4. Angel Candle
The convent’s angel candles can be a suitable gift for relatives and friends who aren’t yet Orthodox.
5. Loose Leaf Tea
We carry over ten different kinds of loose-leaf herbal teas that are handcrafted at the convent. Each tea is made with a custom blend of flowers, roots, leaves, and seeds.
6. Jordanville Incense
The nuns use an Athonite process to make incense, using frankincense sourced from Egypt and Ethiopia. They have been making incense for over 20 years. We carry over 10 of their fragrances.
7. Lavender Healing Cream
The convent makes several lotions that are all-natural using organic ingredients and essential oils. Their skin care products do not contain parabens, phthalates, propylene, glycol, mineral oil, PABA, petrolatum, paraffin or DEA. View all their creams.
8. Chapel In The Woods Candle
